Independence Place of Charlotte

Everything about our stay in Charlotte was beyond amazing. Daryl the manager was so pleasant every time we saw him! He even made sure we got breakfast the one morning when we had missed the serving window (by a lot!). Best manager ever! We will definitely be back (:

I was in town for a leadership conference, and I must say that looks can be deceiving. I didn't expect much from this hotel, but I was wrong. My room was located upstairs and it was nice and clean, and I loved the patio area, I got to meet some beautiful residents while I sat in the sun. Candace was such a huge help, her customer service was superb. Thank y'all!

I highly recommend stopping by for an affordable stay. The foyer has a very nice ambience with great music, the room was newly renovated, the gym was huge with lots of weight machines and free weights, and the breakfast was delicious hot made to order- not your typical hotel breakfast. Darrel and his team are awesome. The hospitality that was shown to us was top notch!

I lived here for 15 months. Front desk folks, Darrel and Anthony are exceptional. Very courteous and attentive. A real pleasure to deal with. Kitchen staff are also great. As is the food. I would have rated a 5 if the A/C worked better in the rooms... get off that wallet Owners!

This place is amazing, I have been here for almost a month and the staff here is great. Every person I have came in contact with always has a smile on their face and positive attitudes. The front desk is amazing, and when I need something there is no hesitation it gets done in a timely manner. The management team is outstanding. This by far is the best extended stay I have stay at, and if you need a place to stay at a reasonable price, I definitely recommend staying here. Keep up th good work.

I've been staying here for the week for work, and the energy, the people, and the staff are just awesome! The rooms are clean, great water pressure, a HUGE gym with free weights up to 80lbs, treadmills, cable system, and it's clean. The fire pit outside is a neat idea for a hotel. They are pet friendly and there is plenty of parking. I'll stay here again!

They really did a great job renovating the rooms. I got all new everything. ( mattress, mini fridge, dresser, and night stand.) They even put a new comforter and sheets on the bed. The floor looked amazing. The service Justin is such a nice guy. Always answers my questions politely. The only problem is the dumpster on the side is so over filled it needs to be taken away and emptied. It smells awful. I like there for the time being. Its just until we can get into a apartment. Hope this helps.

Some may think this maybe a bad review BUT Darryl (management?) was THE BEST. It was right before 3 checking time I got a call that there was a issue with my room. They were understaffed as every business is these days guess due to covid. And they couldn't get the rooms cleaned so he said unfortunately we couldn't check in and he would call Hotels.com and get me a refund. Well after a few phone conversations with Daryl trying to find us other lodging he stated he would get our room cleaned properly and we could stay we just had to check in later than expected (which was fine we were visiting family anyway). But I think he cleaned our room himself honestly. Nice folks!! the rooms are not a fancy room but clean good price and good enough to rest our bones and get a good night sleep. We will stay again when we're back to visit family
